Toyota of Orlando is awaiting the 2013 RAV4 EV!
Did you know that Toyota is testing and releasing limited quantities of the 2013 Toyota RAV4 EV? This electric version of the original Toyota RAV4 offers an extremely eco-friendly solution to drivers who are interested in doing their part in the green movement. Tesla (an engineering field big shot) helped to co-design this vehicle, and Toyota of Orlando can’t wait to get our hands on it!
The 2013 Toyota RAV4 EV is, like we said, electric. It gets an estimated drive range rating of 100 miles, and is equipped with both Normal and Sport driving settings! When you choose to utilize the Sport mode, you’ll top out at speeds of 100mph while the Normal mode tops out at around 85mph. The 2013 Toyota RAV4 EV can charge on a standard wall unit, although you’ll want to get an adapter to increase voltage to 240v - this charging rate will get your Toyota RAV4 EV fully charged and ready to go in about six hours.
You’ll also get to take advantage of two charging modes, which alter the driving distance you can manage on one charge (bottom line, you can drive up to 113 miles on one charge, which is pretty impressive for an electric car). The 2013 Toyota RAV4 EV has a starting MSRP of $49,800. While this is considerably more than the original Toyota RAV4, you have to remember all of the advanced technology integrated into this unique vehicle and the fact that it will undoubtedly slash your fuel costs to a fraction of what they would be in a gasoline-powered car.
